Old Cameras and New Friends

Never thought something called film would help us find friends. We had the joy of meeting up with some newly acquainted friends at a camera show earlier today. The show was amazing, everything from polaroids to high end DSLR's were for sale, but the best part about this morning wasn't even being at the show. It came after we left and just had the joy of doing what we love with the people we love. We first went to Perkins for a quick bite to eat and gain our energy for a morning full of shooting. I had the joy of seeing a young boy about the age of four think a trash can with a foot pressure release was the coolest thing ever invented. Seeing this made me really want to go back to the days where something that simple could give you enjoyment for hours. By the time we left Perkins the sun was just starting to peek out from behind the clouds and produce beautiful lighting for us light seekers. We drove to a park not far from where the camera show and restaurant were located and spent the next few hours shooting everything from polaroid film to medium format to digital. The day was a blast. Thank you so much Tom and Sarah for such a fun filled day, we can't wait for more to come.

Snowshoeing in the Rocky Mountains

This was our first ever snowshoeing experience. If you were to ask us what to do in Colorado during the winter months and you don't like to ski, we would tell you to go snowshoeing in a heart beat. This is a must do for every person that loves nature and all of its beauty.
